Oasis DJs
JC Taylor

I am one of those people that can fall asleep with the headphones on my head listening to music and letting the voice of the DJ take me places. Moving to the other side of the mic happened after I heard a local celebrity DJ, Doug Banks; speak at my Jr. College, Kennedy-King.   From there I moved on to Columbia College Chicago where I got my BA and was taught by Radio Hall of Fame's Al parker.

Since then I have worked for a number of radio stations including WKKC, WCRX, WVAZ in Chicago, KISF, KCEP, and now here at the Oasis in Vegas. After coming to Vegas I have tried everything from taxi and limo driver to shoe and car salesman, store management and I even owned my own restaurant Chicago's Famous Hoagies.

I have always aspired to work in the music business. I have sung in countless Gospel choirs, I was a Production Assistant with the Black Entertainment Television (BET) show "Teen Summit, an announcer for Motown Cafe in Vegas and an intern for V103's John Mond’s show.

I continue my pursuit of the music business. When I am not on the Oasis my other job is as a bouncer at the hottest nightclub in Vegas, so I constantly meet celebrities. I enjoy working out, listening to live music, and cooking. My friends call me Chef Boy-R-Dee Dee!!! Ha ha…I can talk anyone under the table, anyone with a good conversation, that is, about positive things. I am always on the Internet and reading new things my last book was "Living your best life now", Joel Osteen. My motto is Get a Plan, Work the Plan, and Plan to work.
